This Week...

Mostly bug fixes. Code folding and highlighting fixes in Kate. Message selection and deleting bugs fixed in KMail. Screenshots of Kexi, the graphical database front-end.
Jaroslaw Staniek gave an update and screenshots of the Kexi Startup dialogs:
Since Kexi is not document-driven, but project-driven instead, startup dialogs and new/open/save actions are implemented not just like in typical application. A main difference is that in Kexi you may want to open a database connection (pointed by user) and then selected database/project within that conenction. However, you can still open SQLite-based project files. This gives us both powerfull and sophisticated environment.

Jesper K. Pedersen announced a bugfix version of KimDaBa
KimDaBa version 1.0.1 have just been released. It contains three bug fixes for crashes that made KimDaBa crash on exit of application and while moving thumnails around.

A year ago the security fixes for system calls and escaping shell command started. This eventually would lead to a delay in the release of version 3.1. Stephan Kulow volunteered for release dude duties for 3.2. The Kmail merges from make_it_cool, Kroupware and HEAD started, umm, acrimoniously.
