Since there's much code duplication with respect to zoom action (either attached to menu or toolbar) in each KOffice application, I have created KoZoomAction and put in lib/kofficeui. So far I have modified KSpread and Kivio to use this new zoom action.

After reworked the tab bar used in KSpread to be faster (and with less flickering) and with reversed layout support (that's for RTL language), I moved it into lib/kofficeui and it became KoTabBar. Again, I have modified KSpread and Kivio to use this new tab bar (previously Kivio had its own tab bar, a slightly modified version of old KSpread's).
This Week...
Kttsd (text to speech) improves with gui and speaker plugins. KStars adds star motions. And many bugfixes in KDevelop and Khtml.
One year ago there were quite a few important changes. New applications, KWifiManager, KGamma, KMouth and KMousetool. The KWin rewrite was started. KEditBookmarks was merged into HEAD. The new vcardparser was added to KDEPIM, and Icon themes were brought into conformance with the freedesktop standards.
